Making Extra Money Online

I'm finally getting around to some updates, so if you are new to this site or if you have visited before and are just looking to see if I've added anything, I encourage you to give all of the links below a try... be sure to check back again for any updates.

Basically I set up this site because I got tired of looking for "real" places to make some extra money online. I got really tired of reading all of the obvious scam sites. "Click here to see my paycheck from last week" and "I made $36,000 last month and I only worked an hour each day!". Those sites... I'm not selling anything, I don't care to know your credit card number, I don't offer to set up any MLM schemes. I simply have links to sites I use to make a few extra bucks online.

I don't get rich through any schemes online, but I do make a little extra money online. I probably average $25-50 a week and somewhere between $100-200 a month. I really don't put a lot of effort into because honestly I have a full time job, and when I get home I'd rather lay on my ass or do something else thats more fun.

What I do to make some extra money online is mainly paid surveys. I’m signed up for a number of free online paid survey sites that pay cash for surveys. I’ll fill out anywhere from 5 to 50 surveys in a week. Most are short, 5-10 minutes and don’t pay a whole lot while others are longer or involve trying out product samples that pay a little more. It always varies, but I make the most most extra money off these paid survey sites. The trick is to sign up for as many legit survey sites as you can. That way there are almost always paid surveys for you to take, on one site or another. I make anywhere from $.10 to $50 on an average survey. A lot of surveys also include entries into monthly/weekly drawings and I've gotten a few $25 prizes that way.

There are also a lot of legitimate survey sites that you must pay for to subscribe to. Most of these sites compile listings of companies looking to complete surveys. This is where you will find some of the highest paying surveys. Some are more involved than others, some may be in person or phone surveys, or even focus groups that can pay as much as $150 an hour (though most don't pay quite that much). Just be careful which paid survey sites you try because there are scams out there, that's why I am very cautious in trying out these types of sites. Personally I don't subscribe to any of these sites, mainly because I'm too cheap to try them out, but I do recommend trying them and good luck!

The other way I make extra money online is by reading email ads. All it entails is clicking a link in the email to get credit for viewing the ad material. I suppose this is similar to the paid to click advertising you see with things like Google AdWords (which is another place you can make a lot of money; if you're interested in it, here's a recommended site to get some good info). This has become one of my least favorite ways to make money though. You really need to get a large downline of people under you reading emails to make much money. But if you think you can recruit a large downline, this can be a very easy way to make some extra money.

These are not huge money making schemes. They are real ways to make a little extra money online every month. You have to realize that every paid survey and every email is not going to be worth much, but when you do enough it adds up. Generally I don’t spend more than 20-30 minutes a day doing any of these things. I’m sure I could spend more time and make a little more money sitting at my computer, but honestly I have better things to do most days and I still have a regular job, so this is just some easy side money.

A great way to increase your earnings from both the paid to read emails & paid surveys, is to refer your friends to the same sites. Most sites will pay you for each referral and some sites continuing paying when your referrals take surveys or read ads. Doing this can more than double anything you make on your own. This is the best way to increase what you're earning every month.
